Shida joined Providentia Wealth Advisory Ltd in 2011 and plays a key role in leading the Japan desk in developing and managing client relations. He advises clients on their investments and wealth management needs. He works closely with the Providentia Wealth Management team to provide clients and families with trust and succession planning solutions as well as family office services.

Shida has more than 30 years of private banking and wealth management experience and started his career at Yamaichi Securities and Merrill Lynch Securities. During those 14 years, Shida advised private and corporate clients on investments, capital markets and corporate finance. He also held senior positions at Citigroup Private Bank Japan and Société Générale Private Banking in Singapore and was responsible for providing customized structured investment solutions to high net worth families.

Shida graduated from Rikkyo University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics in 1989.
